The Courtyards of Miami

Welcome to the Courtyards of Miami. The Courtyards of Miami offers affordable, friendly off campus, student only apartment housing across the street from the Recreational Sports Center on the Miami University Campus. 

Location is important to busy students. The Courtyards of Miami is located on the corner of East Central Avenue & South Main Street and is close to the BCRTA bus stop. 

The Courtyards of Miami was purchased and renovated in 2008 to offer students affordable, utility friendly housing as an alternative to the smaller dorms at the University of Miami, but still providing quick access to all the university has to offer. 

The Courtyards offers one and two bedroom apartments. Our residents enjoy more privacy and less stress than having several students share the same living quarters. 

When considering the utilities paid by the Courtyards, apartment living is more affordable than most houses and offers the camaraderie of the neighboring students. Most of our residents are “first time renters” and having quick access to the owner/ operator and neighbors who are students just like them makes it a more comfortable living experience. 

Flexible financing allows the Courtyards to offer housing to everyone from juniors to grad students. 

The Courtyards of Miami offers off street parking, in-house laundry facilities, air conditioning, a nice backyard with a shelter, picnic tables & grills, and upgraded apartments where heat is paid in most locations. 

Family owned and operated, the Wurzelbacher Family enjoys a combined 70 plus years experience in managing and maintaining apartment communities. 

The Courtyards manager Carolyn enjoys having an office on site and the excellent maintenance reputation she credits to the people who have worked together with her for many years. Her brother Carl runs the maintenance crew that services the Courtyards, so residents enjoy the security of knowing & seeing the same people who fix what needs fixed or anything else they might need help with. 

Together they spend a lot of time at the Courtyards but office hours vary to allow weekend or evening appointments when needed.
