Behrens Lofts

The Behrens Lofts are located in the historic railroad warehouse district of downtown Waco. The lofts are within walking distance of Baylor University, the dining, retail and entertainment areas of downtown Waco, and Magnolia Market and The Silos.

The Behrens building was built by the Clifton family for the Behrens Drug Company in 1913. The building was a fire-proof, concrete structure constructed to provide ample working space for employees and to keep them safe. The building survived the devastation of the 1953 Waco tornado with little damage.

In the 1990s, the fifth, sixth and seventh floors were added and the Behrens building was converted to loft living spaces.

The Behrens Lofts are now being offered as luxury condominiums within a thriving and growing downtown Waco filled with rich history and endless activities.
