Setting ground rules with your roommates is quite important and will prevent future fights amongst yourselves.
Also talking about coordinating decorations and household products is a productive way to make sure your student apartment is ready for when you move in. Wouldn’t it be awful for you and your roommates to bring plates and glasses, but forget to have someone bring silverware? Thankfully, a good amount of off campus housing makes it easier to coordinate the big items, because most offer furnished apartments!
