Personal safety is a huge concern for college students.

However, there are those instances where an intoxicated college student could misuse said pepper spray and harm themselves or others close to them.
There is no definitive answer to the pepper spray dilemma, it depends on the user.
If you think that you need to have it on you to feel safe, then get invest in pepper spray and have it with you.On the other hand, if you don’t see a benefit to carrying it on your person, don’t.
Nonetheless, if you are someone who enjoys a late night walk or runs, you could benefit from having pepper spray on your person.
