Most of us would just be happy if our student apartments allowed our pet at all!
Nevertheless, some properties go above and beyond to welcome your furry friends. Here are a few pet amenities from apartments that like to be extra:
Clubhouse Treats: If your apartment has a bowl of dog biscuits in the common area, then that’s the place to be!
Dog Park: What could be better than having your best buddy move in with you? A playground just for them! Sometimes called a Bark Park, an on-property dog park is an easy way for your pup to get exercise without having to worry about the leash running out (pun intended).
Cat Park: We could not make this up, cat parks exist. Don’t believe us? Check out Meow-Meow Meadows at the|VINTAGE in College Station, TX.
Pet Grooming Station: After hours of playing in the sun, you may want to give you dog a bath before returning to your apartment’s shag-carpeted living area. If your complex has a pet wash station, give your bud a rub-a-dub-dub before heading home.
Daycare: Never feel bad about leaving you doggo home again! Places like One North of Boston in Chelsea, MA provide indoor and outdoor daycare services. Here, your puppy can play outside with other dogs instead of being cooped up in the apartment all day. What a cool idea!
Doggie Pool: Okay, so your apartment has a saltwater pool – but does it have a doggie pool?? Palm Bay Club in Jacksonville, FL literally has a pool specifically for your dog. It’s shaped like a bone and the fountain in the middle is a fire hydrant. Cuteness overload.
Pet-friendly apartments routinely report higher percentages of their residents sticking around when the lease is up. Some of these may seem silly, but if they keep pet renters coming back, why not??
