Organizing your college closet can be tough. Your closet space likely shrunk while your wardrobe did not.
Before you give up and get rid of half of your wardrobe try using some of these helpful tips.
-
Invest in an over -the- door shoe rack. By hanging up some if not all of your shoes, you have opened up a lot more space for clothing. Also, the back of your closet wall is wasted space so why not use it?
-
Try some plastic drawers that can fit under your bed. Not only will this free up more space for hanging items but it won’t clutter up open space in your room.
-
Plan your closet for the season. Meaning when it’s summer, store your winter clothes in bins to avoid a cluttered situation.
-
This can make your closet seem double the size because it will only have portions of your closet at a time.
-
The seasonal organization also come in handy when it’s time to move because half of your closet will already be packed.
