Routers start for as low as $25 and can be easily set up. If you have roommates, you can split the cost of one and then all share a faster internet speed.
- Call your internet provider. Go straight to the source and ask if there is anything you can do inside your apartment or on your computer to speed up your services. Even though it’s through your apartment, you can still call the company that provides internet services to your complex.
- Make a stronger password. You might be sharing your wifi signal and not even know it. Update your password every 3 to 6 months to keep others from latching on.
