San Luis Obispo, Calif. and San Marcos, Texas
The nation’s largest third-party management company according to their website, Asset Campus Housing (ACH), has expanded its managed portfolio again this week with two new properties: Mustang Village of San Luis Obispo, and The Reserve at West Avenue of San Marcos, Texas.
Both off-campus student housing complexes have improvements slated for upcoming months following the change in management.
Mustang Village serves students of California Polytechnic University with one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. The 1,006-bed community sits within comfortable walking distance of campus.
Under the direction of ACH, Mustang Village will begin interior and exterior renovations that include improvements to flooring, cabinetry, lighting, appliances, counter tops, and furniture. New amenities to be added include a refurbished basketball court, picnic area, study area, computer lab, TV lunge, BBQ grills, and pool.
The Reserve at West Avenue serves students of Texas State University in San Marcos with two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans. The 488-bed facility formerly known as University Springs is near TSU San Marco’s main campus and offers amenities such as in-unit washers and dryers, walk-in closets, and bedrooms with individualized locks within each unit.
Moving forward, The Reserve will continue undergoing interior and exterior renovations already in progress. Some of the new features will include updated fitness equipment, a dog park, new study rooms, upgraded business center computers and an updated clubhouse.
According to their website, ACH prides itself on offering a boutique approach to property management that combines owners’ goals with ACH’s 28 years of expertise in the student housing industry.
Their current portfolio includes more than 120 properties nationwide.
