Beverage Anyone?
A good bottle of wine or cocktail – if of age. DO NOT abuse the beverage, and, more importantly DO NOT take advantage of your partner as a result of the beverages. If the moment seems anxious though, it might help the both of you relax and let loose to enjoy the situation.
Does This Make Me Feel Sexy?
Look at your current posters, paintings, pictures and ask yourself, “Does this make me feel sexy/romantic/sensual? Or … not? If not, it might be time to lose that item.
Some potential replacements could be:
-a piece of art depicting a couple embracing (such as “The Kiss” by Gustave Klimt)
-a photo of you and your partner during a romantic evening or getaway
-anything that feels sexy and reminds you of romance and togetherness
Go Warm, or (They Might) Go Home.
Warm and earthy colors open the heart and activate emotional connection. Colors such as red, rust, orange, pink, light shades of brown, yellow, gold or beige are the best for your bedding choices. If you’re a big fan of pure white sheets, at least add touches of warmth in the accessories. Cooler colors like green and blue can be cooling to the emotions and passions.
