SouthGate Campus Centre is a full-service traditional student dorm serving FSU, FAMU and TCC students. Located directly across the street from the South entrance of Florida State University, SouthGate is a great way to get your college career, both academically and socially, off to a good start. Because we are full-service you can relax, concentrate on your studies and still have time for fun. Community Assistants, are on every floor. They are available for you if you have a problem, question or complaint. They also love to coordinate activities to keep things lively...parties, picnics, study breaks, intramural sports and a whole lot more.
We have some awesome deals for the 2011-2012 school year that you can’t afford to miss out on! In addition to waiving our application fee, our great rates make us less expensive than all of the FSU suite style dorms (Landis, Gilchrist, Bryan, Broward, Reynolds, Jeanie Murphrey, DeGraff, and Wildwood)! Our Complete Student Living package is all-inclusive--that means rent, electricity, cable, internet, weekly housekeeping, and unlimited meals are all included for $4,070 per semester. If you want 14 or unlimited meals per week, just add $100 more each! We even offer discounts for paying in advance—pay by July 1 and save $300!
Extras!
• Parking is available in our private garage so that you can avoid the hectic parking scenes of Tallahassee and FSU. The spots are first-come, first-served and you will be issued a decal so that you never have to search for a spot. Our garage is priced at $450.00 per semester.
• If roommates are a concern, we have a one-of-a-kind roommate matching program that puts the decision back into your hands. With our new SouthGate Facebook group, you can go online and meet all the different students signed up to live with us, fill out characteristic surveys, and see who fits best for you!
• SouthGate offers a courtesy officer service seven nights a week to give you peace of mind while you/your student are away from home. Dads and moms can feel comfortable at move in, and get a chance to speak to the officers that will be there throughout the year in our community.
• SouthGate’s seven, fourteen, and unlimited meal plan access packages allow you the freedom to get what you need on your schedule. Whether it’s some fruit before class, a snack, or a meal, you will enjoy our home-cooked entrees, endless made-to-order selections, an always healthy 25-item salad bar, and the popular slushy and ice cream treats. You can’t beat having all this right downstairs, either on-campus or anywhere else!
