Oak Pointe Pet Policy

Pets are allowed on the premises only with an appointment by management to meet your pet, a signed Animal Addendum which requires an additional deposit, rent, non-refundable fees or other charges. If a pet is acquired after you move-in and we allow the animal, you are required to make proper arrangements with the office immediately or you will be in violation of your lease. All residents with pets are required to submit a veterinarian statement establishing the general health, breed or breed mix of the pet and the proof of current rabies shots and licenses required by law.

Support Animals : If the animal is a service animal for a disabled person, you are not required to post an animal deposit, and breed restrictions do not apply. A completed and signed Letter Regarding Support Animals from a qualified professional verifying the need for the service animal along with proof of current rabies shots and licenses (if legally applicable) is required.

Restrictions : We will accept all breeds of dogs, at least one year old, except the following or any combination of mixed breed that contain any of the following: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow, Dalmatian, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Pit Bull Terriers*, Rotweiler, Saint Bernard, and Wolf Dog Hybrids. *(including all Pit Bull breeds - American Pit Bull Terriers, American or Irish Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Pit Bulls, American Bull Dogs, and Presa Canario)

We reserve the right to add additional breeds or families to this list of prohibited breeds at any time. We allow a maximum of two pets per apartment. All cats must be de-clawed, unless legally outlawed, male cats neutered and female cats spayed. Unless authorized in writing, neither resident, nor guest may bring any other animal, mammal, bird, or fish (water tanks not to exceed 55 gallons), into the dwelling or apartment.
