Silverstone Apartments (formerly Green Meadows) is a fairly large complex in northeast Davis situated on Pole Line Road just north of Covell. The complex contains studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and three-bedroom townhomes from $850/month-$1,745/month with no last month rent advance required. Silverstone, managed by Riverstone Residential, uses the standard 12 month lease. Silverstone is near Oak Tree Plaza (most notably Nugget and Longs Drugs), Davis Athletic Club, Nugget Fields, some bike paths, and Oak Grove Park. Living there also grants you the privilege of using the square pool & cozy spa (pool area is temporarily closed while the spa is redone. It will re-open shortly (as of May, 2009)). Washers and dryers are available in some two-bedroom units and all three-bedroom units. Unitrans L bus line has a stop directly in front of Silverstone on Pole Line Road. Although the bus will be headed northbound, it will soon turn around and head towards campus. The ride takes about 15 minutes by bus or 15-30 minutes by bike. Parking is abundant here.
